Introduction:
Valley Theatre is a Liverpool based theatre looking to create a network of local actors
for both present performance-based projects and for future performances or skills-based workshops.
This post is an open casting call for anyone who would be interested in acting in one of our performances.
In this post we will be going over who we are here at the valley theatre, what is this casting call for, the benefits of getting involved and how to get involved through our auditions in Liverpool.
About Us:
We are a registered charity located in Netherley, Liverpool
who have served the local arts community arts for the past 30 years.
Our performances are one of the ways we do so by providing high quality, affordable shows throughout the year.
We aim to be able not only to entertain our audiences but to also educate people on different social issues.

What is this casting call for:
We are looking for volunteers to take part in performances for our valley players.
We normally put on 2 performances a year including a pantomime for the Christmas season.
Our performances are performed entirely by volunteers,
we are constantly building a network of local actors to help bring our performances alive for the local community.

Development of Performance Skills
Our performances here at the Valley Community Theatre offer you the opportunity to develop your skills in theatre.
With 2 performances a year you will have plenty of opportunity to develop your skills and advance in your hobby/career.
Our performances are a great avenue for you to develop your skills or to refine existing ones in e.g. acting, singing, dancing, and comedic timing.
Community Engagement
Our productions offer you the opportunity to meet new people and build relationships as well as provide opportunities for performers to engage with their community.
This could help you network within theatrical circles in Liverpool and help you find other projects to be a part of.
You will also have the opportunity to interact with a local audience and become well known locally for your acting skills.
Personal Growth and Development
Our productions are a great way to foster a sense of personal growth and development.
By learning new skills, rehearsing, teamwork and live performance, actors can gain confidence, resilience, and a sense of accomplishment enhancing their overall well-being and self-esteem.
You will have plenty of opportunity to develop in drama/acting and have a sense of achievement as your skills and experience help you propel your career.
